It’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it? How can I sell more to my target market?
The answer isn’t cut and dry, but there are a few things you can do to enhance your online presence, which may just lead to those sales.
Here are 3 ways you could increase sales to your target audience:
- Find out what they like. When we think of our target audience, how deeply are we thinking? It helps to draw up a buyer persona in order to market your products in a way they will enjoy.
- Use platforms they like. Different digital platforms appeal to different types of people. Once you know exactly who your target person is, you will be able to use the platforms that suit them the best. One example would be the sale of adult walkers. You wouldn’t think of reaching your target audience on TikTok, since that is for a very young crowd!
- Educate them about how your product can fulfil a need. You may be selling shoes, by why does your target market need YOUR shoes, above all others? Think of the amazing points that your business has to offer and let your target market know about them. Are your shoes better quality? Is your online shopping facility faster and easier to use? Does your branding offer a certain feeling when they purchase from you? You get the idea.
