Wacky Wednesday Word of the Week!

In this weekly feature, we bring you funny, crazy, interesting, old, new, and always WACKY words from the English language! Enjoy!

Cattywampus: This wacky word is one used in Midland and Southern USA. It means that something that is in disarray, skew, or isn’t directly across from something. For example, a theatre might be cattywampus from the grocer. Similar words that mean the same are: “catty-corner”, “kitty-corner”, or “catawampus”.

(Language is just so awesome!)
